Seemingly unaffected by the economic crisis, the opulent event at the Imperial Palace was once again expected to draw over 15,000 visitors.

Landstraßer Hauptsraße is one of the main streets in Vienna. It starts at the Stadtpark and traverses the district of Landstraße. It is mainly a shopping street with not many high street brands. It has also some sights of interest like the Rochuskirche (Rochus church) from the 18th century in baroque style and the Krankenhaus St. Elisabetth, a hospital and church also built in the 18th century. At Rochusgasse thereis a small outdoor market. This is an area not visited by many tourist so it shows a more local side of Vienna.
